Everyone needs to get away from the noise, hustle and bustle of community life to just relax and enjoy nature. Here are some photos I took of a cabin on a lake in the forest where a family could retreat on weekends and holidays. Quite a few families had cabins on lakes in the Sandy Bay area. There were no roads to these cabins so access was by small boats across the lake during the summer months. In the winter a family could drive by snowmobile or light weight vehicle across the frozen lake if the ice was thick.
